A unique place in Chamonix valley

Gourmet restaurant at the Jeu de Paume Hotel , we are located in the heart of Lavancher , 10 minutes from Chamonix. Single site, sanctuary of alpine sports and tourism . The name ” Lavancher ” comes from the exceptional situation of the hamlet at the foot of the pine forest ! You may be lucky enough to see a deer crossing our garden.
In a quiet, cozy and welcoming, we offer an original and inventive cuisine around three themes: The World flavors , Region and Classics .
We are open daily from 12:15 to 14:00 and from 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. except Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.

Eric de Ganck

Born in Liege, Belgium, arrived in Chamonix in 1993, where he settled and built the restaurant and it’s reputation.
His talent and originality has given the Rosebud a place in gastronomie Chamonix. Its subtle and creative cuisine, often uses spices and herbs from his garden to tantalise the taste buds.
